MEET THE ARTIST
Becky is a multi-media artist who has lived and worked in Denver, Colorado for over 30 years. After earning her BFA from Loretto Heights College, she has worked as an art publisher, graphic artist, marketing designer and an art teacher - all while maintaining her art studio in Denver's prestigious Santa Fe Arts District. She is a prolific artist who has participated in numerous one-woman and group exhibitions and has won awards for honorable mention and best in show. Her passion for artistic expression permeates her distinctive style and guides her skillful manipulation of diverse and sometimes seemingly contrary blending of media.
"My artistic mission is to combine media to create work that pushes the boundaries of visual perception into an adventurous style which challenges the viewer. My organic approach keeps my work grounded, however, in primal human understandings. I urge my viewers to connect with their most basic gut reactions first, then allow those instincts to expand into a curious, yet satisfying, unknown."
